Do you feel empowered or disempowered to live an extraordinary life?

It’s time for part 2 of How to Create an Extraordinary Life. In the last episode, you discovered in your own terms what you want your extraordinary life to look like. You also uncovered what’s keeping you from that life and what you need to shift or change. It’s time to dig in further and unpack the beliefs that get in your way of living your extraordinary life to the fullest.

Today is for you if…

  • If you’re tired of life feeling like one big rollercoaster.

  • If you desire to let go of the excess stress and worry in your life.

  • If you’re ready to remove the old thoughts that sabotage your life, create a new story and life.

It all starts with a thought.

We think > We Feel > We Choose

  • First, you think a thought.

  • Then, that causes you to feel a certain way.

  • Then you make a decision or choice. You act, don’t act, or react.

The life you have now is directly connected to the choices you’ve made up to this point.

Your choices are your actions or inactions.

If you’re not fully living your extraordinary life, it’s time to dig into thought life and see where it’s leading your choices - your actions, inactions and reactions.

Change your story and change your life.

1. Check Your Thoughts

Ask yourself:

  • What are your two most stressful thoughts that consistently show up?

You know the achiever’s word for fear is stress. If you’re stressed out, you’re afraid of something.

All pain starts with the illusion of control or loss.

  • What tends to trigger those thoughts?

A trigger is something that sets off an action or response. 

So, what sets off your stressful thoughts?

Fear is your imagination undirected. So, let’s get that imagination working for you instead of against you.

2. Choose a New Thought

Now ask yourself:

  • What is the antithesis or the direct opposite of your stressful thoughts? 

  • Or what would be an empowering thought instead?

Change your story and change your life.

When your triggers, switch out your disempowering thoughts for your empowering thoughts.

3. Focus on what you can love and appreciate.

  • What can you love and appreciate in this moment? 

Focusing on love and appreciate will take you from fear to faith.

We think > We Feel > We Choose

Homework:

1. Check Your Thoughts with These Questions:

  • What are your two most stressful thoughts that consistently show up?

  • What tends to trigger those thoughts?

2. Choose a New Thought

  • What is the antithesis or the direct opposite of your stressful thoughts? 

  • Or what would be an empowering thought instead?

Now, switch out the disempowering thought for an empowering thought when triggered.

3. Focus on what you can love and appreciate

  • What can you love and appreciate in this moment? 

Your beautiful, extraordinary life is not just about achievement but who we become on the joinery and enjoying our beautiful life along the way to where we’re going.

When you focus on what’s lovely instead of the stressful/fearful thoughts, you keep yourself in a resourceful state of mind that helps create your extraordinary life.

You can live your extraordinary life, but remember, you’ve got to be willing to do what’s necessary to make it happen.
